Overview

Our client is a large public oil & gas company based in downtown Calgary.  Currently they are looking for a Production Accountant to join their team.  This role will start as a 6-month contract with the possibility of extending or going permanent.  The role reports to the PA Supervisor.

Responsibilities: 

• Gather and analyze production data and confirm pipeline deliveries
• Upload and enter well test, production, inventories, and sales into Metrix
• Prepare Oil, NGL and Gas sales splits and communicate with partners
• Submit Volumetric, SAF/OAF, APMC and other required reports to Petrinex
• Book and analyze revenues, trucking charges, and accounts receivable
• Resolve JVB queries in a timely manner
• Work with the field to meet government compliance requirements on EPAP and FFV

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years full cycle PA experience
• CAPPA designation preferred
• AB property experience
• Experience with Metrix is preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication skills and ability toto work in a changing environment
• Ability to work in the office 5 days a week
