Rate: $50-75/HR

Our client is a large NPO based in Calgary. They are currently looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to complete a project, expected to be a 4-month-contract with a possible extension.

Responsibilities:  Working closely with the Controller, the successful candidate will spearhead a project to separate our client’s different entities financial statements (2024-2025) into their independent entities.  Specific duties include:

• Review and amend policy and procedures to support accounting for the separate entities
• Creation of process documents, including visual depiction, such as swim lane diagrams
• Separate and categorize assets and other balance sheet items
• Support year end audit as required
• Additional duties, as assigned, including help coordinate lease calculation and leasing document for independent leasing portfolio

Requirements:

• CPA or equivalent designation
• 10 years of demonstrated accounting experience
• Experience with the following would be an asset
  • Not for Profit organization
  • Yardi, Voyager system
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated critical thinking
• Ability to work independently
