Rate: $50-70/hour, full-time

Overview

Our client, based in Calgary, is a young EPC and development group with operations and projects across North America. They’ve big plans over the next few years, supported by their large established parent.

Head office has 15-18 staff total.   Open offices.   In the Beltline, low-cost nearby parking.   Hybrid schedule. Possibility for extension and/or conversion to permanent employment.

Duties

Reporting to the VP Finance, you will take financial ownership of many of the operations/projects, including: 

• Payables and payments
• Revenue reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasting and management
• Tax filings
• Month end close
• Intercompany reporting
• Management reporting

Requirements

• 4+ years relevant accounting experience
• Midsized to large company experience, ideally industrial projects, construction, energy assets
• Nice to have: experience with software Xero (accounting) and Dext & ApprovalMax (invoice capture and approvals)
• Continuous‑improvement experience
• Advanced Excel experience, e.g., pivot tables, vlookups
