Overview

Our client is a Calgary based public company located in downtown Calgary.  Currently there is an opportunity for a Manager Corporate Accounting to join the team.  This role reports to the Director.

Responsibilities: 

• Month and quarter ends
• Oversee journal entries and reconciliations
• Develop, implement and monitor internal controls
• Qbyte maintenance
• Capital Accounting
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Indirect tax
• Work closely with operational accounting and financial reporting teams
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by Director and VP

Requirements:

• CPA with 2 to 5 years post designation experience
• Large public practice firm experience required
• IFRS experience required
• Oil & gas industry exposure (from industry or firm)
• Qbyte nice to have
