Responsibilities

Our client is a start up FinTech based in Calgary and operating globally.  Substantial growth has led to the opportunity for an Operations Manager.  This is a permanent opportunity reporting to the COO. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Overall management of Operations team and office
  • Manage process performance, business controls and reporting
  • Analyze and help implement fraud and risk management rules and policies
  • Work directly with vendors/partners, including banks, payment processors, biller aggregators, and risk and fraud management partners
  • Work effectively with different parts of the organization, including accounting, client services and Product Team
  • Continuous process improvement
  • Hire and manage a small team of Operation Specialists
  • Ad-hoc projects

Requirements

  • 10 years of operations experience in financial services
  • Experience supporting the back office for loan processing
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial organization
