Financial Analyst

Recent restructuring has led to the need to a add Financial Analyst to their team. This is a permanent role reporting to the Director of Finance.


You will play a central role in business analysis and planning for all aspects of the business in all operating locations. Specific responsibilities include:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Assist in the preparation and administration of the annual budget for all lines of business both domestically and internationally.
  • Administer quarterly budget updates in for use in monthly reporting and forecasting.
  • Work with the Leadership Team to conduct financial and economic research to support global growth activities including the creation of ad-hoc financial models and analysis to support business expansion.
  • Update rolling revenue forecasts based on weekly updates provided by sales team.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements including cash flow reconciliations. 
  • Participate in the production of monthly reporting package including detailed variance analysis.
  • Design and develop dashboard and reporting solutions to convey analysis of business results to Leadership Team and Shareholders. 
  • Prepare schedules to support values held in foreign currencies and foreign operations.
  • Review business and reporting processes, develop and implement modifications to improve efficiency and accuracy.

 Pricing and Cost Analysis

  • Review and maintain pricelists in multiple currencies based on specified margins and input costs.
  • Cost analysis and departmental allocations. 
  • Detailed analysis of margins to explain monthly variations and recommendations to improve margins


  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, or a role with significant exposure to business models and complex Excel worksheets and databases.   
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related areas.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or currently working towards completion. 
  • Expertise with MS Office with Super User Excel ability, and comfortable working with different financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills are essential as this role will be working with all cross-sections of the organization 
  • Ideally, the candidate would have direct exposure to accounting for international business units and experience with foreign exchange and translation, in addition to having experience in a multicurrency environment.
  • The candidate would benefit from a basic understanding of consolidations.
